Melvær

Celebrated Norwegian designer, Kristine Five Melvær collaborates with a wide range of producers on tableware, lighting, textile objects and graphic design.

Since achieving a Masters degree in industrial design from the Oslo School of Architecture and Design and a Masters degree in Visual Communication from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, Kristine has focussed on the communicative potential of objects in order to create emotional bonds between object and user.

Each of the 100% recycled plastic (PET) and non-slip nitrile rubber backed mats also have a rough textured surface to effectively trap dust and dirt, whilst simultaneously providing a high absorption capacity. Available in two sizes, and in a series of considered and calming tones, each timeless design is decorated with an organic three-dimensional motif that celebrates an essential Zen principle.

Made from the highest quality materials Heymat products require very little maintenance. By shaking and vacuuming your mat daily to remove the dust and dirt collected you will extend the lifetime of the product, as well as keep its appearance looking its very best for longer. If your mat needs a more thorough cleaning, it can be rinsed with water.
